וְחָרָ֣ה אַפִּ֣י ב֣וֹ בַיּוֹם־הַ֠הוּא וַעֲזַבְתִּ֞ים וְהִסְתַּרְתִּ֨י פָנַ֤י מֵהֶם֙ וְהָיָ֣ה לֶֽאֱכֹ֔ל וּמְצָאֻ֛הוּ רָע֥וֹת רַבּ֖וֹת וְצָר֑וֹת וְאָמַר֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא הֲלֹ֗א עַ֣ל כִּֽי־אֵ֤ין אֱלֹהַי֙ בְּקִרְבִּ֔י מְצָא֖וּנִי הָרָע֥וֹת הָאֵֽלֶּה׃

Тогда гнев Мой возгорится против них в тот день, и Я оставлю их, и Я скрою лице Мое от них, и они будут истреблены, и на них постигнет много зла и бед; чтобы они сказали в тот день: не постигнет ли нас это зло, потому что Бога нашего нет между нами?

But Samuel said, This [verse above of good actions that are judged harshly refers to] someone who bestows money upon the poor man in the hour of his extreme distress [and not before that point]. Rava said, This is the proverb, Money [to buy] produce, it is not there. To [buy] produce [in a time of distress] that is hung, it is there. Anyone who is not included in the "hiding of the face" is not of them [who are Jewish]; anyone who is not included in the words "and they shall be devoured"
