וְרָאִיתִי֮ אֶת־כָּל־מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה הָאֱלֹהִים֒ כִּי֩ לֹ֨א יוּכַ֜ל הָאָדָ֗ם לִמְצוֹא֙ אֶת־הַֽמַּעֲשֶׂה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נַעֲשָׂ֣ה תַֽחַת־הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ בְּ֠שֶׁל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יַעֲמֹ֧ל הָאָדָ֛ם לְבַקֵּ֖שׁ וְלֹ֣א יִמְצָ֑א וְגַ֨ם אִם־יֹאמַ֤ר הֶֽחָכָם֙ לָדַ֔עַת לֹ֥א יוּכַ֖ל לִמְצֹֽא׃
тогда я увидел всю работу Бога, что человек не может узнать работу, которая совершается под солнцем; потому что, хотя человек трудится, чтобы найти его, он не найдет его; да, дальше, хотя мудрый думает узнать это, но он не сможет найти его.
Ecclesiastes
He made everything beautiful in its time. [(A time of good is "beautiful" [i.e., appropriate] for the rewarding of a good deed, and a time of evil, for the punishment of an evil deed.)] Also, the [wisdom of the] world [lit., of what is hidden], [which] He placed in their heart, [He did not place there in its entirety, in the heart of each one], so that a man not find out the act that G-d had wrought [i.e., projected] from beginning to end. [(So that, not knowing the day of his death, man plans and builds and the world is perpetuated.)]

Now, please, if I have found favor in Your eyes, please let me know Your way, so that I will know You, that I may find favor in Your eyes; and [also] consider that this nation is [indeed] Your people.”
