הֻכָּ֣ה אֶפְרַ֔יִם שָׁרְשָׁ֥ם יָבֵ֖שׁ פְּרִ֣י בלי־[בַֽל־] יַעֲשׂ֑וּן גַּ֚ם כִּ֣י יֵֽלֵד֔וּן וְהֵמַתִּ֖י מַחֲמַדֵּ֥י בִטְנָֽם׃ (ס)
Ефрем поражен, корни их высохли, они не принесут плодов; Да, хотя они приносят, И все же я убью любимый плод их чрева.
