וְיָדַעְתָּ֖ עִם־לְבָבֶ֑ךָ כִּ֗י כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר יְיַסֵּ֥ר אִישׁ֙ אֶת־בְּנ֔וֹ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ מְיַסְּרֶֽךָּ׃
И ты будешь считать в своем сердце, что как человек наказывает сына своего, так и Господь, Бог твой, наказывает тебя.
Targum Jonathan on Deuteronomy
But you know with the thoughts of your hearts, that as a man regardeth his child, so the Lord your God hath regarded you.
