וַיֹּ֨אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵ֤ל אֶל־הָעָם֙ אַל־תִּירָ֔אוּ אַתֶּ֣ם עֲשִׂיתֶ֔ם אֵ֥ת כָּל־הָרָעָ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את אַ֗ךְ אַל־תָּס֙וּרוּ֙ מֵאַחֲרֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וַעֲבַדְתֶּ֥ם אֶת־יְהוָ֖ה בְּכָל־לְבַבְכֶֽם׃
At sinabi ni Samuel sa bayan: “Huwag kayong matakot; kayo nga ang gumawa ng lahat ng kasamaang ito, ngunit huwag kayong lumihis sa pagsunod sa Walang-Hanggan, kundi maglingkod kayo sa Walang-Hanggan nang inyong buong puso.

“Samuel said to the people, do not fear” [12:20]. Samuel said, do not be afraid, but be pious and serve God with your whole heart. Do not go after the foreign gods that do not help you and cannot protect you.
