וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֞ל שָׁמְע֣וּ לֵאמֹ֗ר הִכָּ֤ה שָׁאוּל֙ אֶת־נְצִ֣יב פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וְגַם־נִבְאַשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיִּצָּעֲק֥וּ הָעָ֛ם אַחֲרֵ֥י שָׁא֖וּל הַגִּלְגָּֽל׃
At narinig ng buong Israel na sinasabi: “Pinatay ni Saul ang opisyal na itinalaga ng mga Filisteo, at kinasuklaman din ng mga Filisteo ang Israel.” At tinipon ang mga tao upang sumunod kay Saul sa Gilgal.
