וַיִּקַּ֨ח שְׁמוּאֵ֜ל אֶ֣בֶן אַחַ֗ת וַיָּ֤שֶׂם בֵּֽין־הַמִּצְפָּה֙ וּבֵ֣ין הַשֵּׁ֔ן וַיִּקְרָ֥א אֶת־שְׁמָ֖הּ אֶ֣בֶן הָעָ֑זֶר וַיֹּאמַ֕ר עַד־הֵ֖נָּה עֲזָרָ֥נוּ יְהוָֽה׃
Kumuha si Samuel ng isang bato at inilagay niya ito sa pagitan ng Mizpa at ng Sen. Pinangalanan niya itong Eben-ezer, at sinabi niya: “Hanggang dito ay tinulungan tayo ng Walang-Hanggan.”
