וַיֹּ֨אמֶר בִּלְעָ֜ם לְבָלָ֗ק הִתְיַצֵּב֮ עַל־עֹלָתֶךָ֒ וְאֵֽלְכָ֗ה אוּלַ֞י יִקָּרֵ֤ה יְהוָה֙ לִקְרָאתִ֔י וּדְבַ֥ר מַה־יַּרְאֵ֖נִי וְהִגַּ֣דְתִּי לָ֑ךְ וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ שֶֽׁפִי׃
Sinabi ni Balaam kay Balak: “Tumayo ka sa tabi ng iyong handog na susunugin, at ako'y aalis; baka sakaling salubungin ako ng Walang-Hanggan, at anumang salitang ipakita Niya sa akin ay sasabihin ko sa iyo.” At umalis siyang mag-isa.

Observe this. All men are in the power of the Holy King, and all have their allotted time in this world; but for this one there is no appointed time, and therefore it mocks at the evil spirits and gloats over them.
