מִן־הַגּוֹיִ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָֽמַר־יְהוָה֩ אֶל־בְּנֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל לֹֽא־תָבֹ֣אוּ בָהֶ֗ם וְהֵם֙ לֹא־יָבֹ֣אוּ בָכֶ֔ם אָכֵן֙ יַטּ֣וּ אֶת־לְבַבְכֶ֔ם אַחֲרֵ֖י אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם בָּהֶ֛ם דָּבַ֥ק שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לְאַהֲבָֽה׃
mula sa mga bansang sinabi ng Walang-Hanggan sa mga anak ni Israel: “Huwag kayong makikisama sa kanila, at huwag din silang makikisama sa inyo, sapagkat tiyak na ililihis nila ang inyong puso sa pagsunod sa kanilang mga diyos.” Sa kanila kumapit si Solomon nang may pag-ibig.
