וַיְהִי֙ לִתְקֻפ֣וֹת הַיָּמִ֔ים וַתַּ֥הַר חַנָּ֖ה וַתֵּ֣לֶד בֵּ֑ן וַתִּקְרָ֤א אֶת־שְׁמוֹ֙ שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל כִּ֥י מֵיְהוָ֖ה שְׁאִלְתִּֽיו׃
Naglihi si Hana, at nang sumapit ang takdang panahon ay nanganak siya ng isang lalaki. Pinangalanan niya itong Samuel, sapagkat sinabi niya: “Mula sa Walang-Hanggan ko siya hiniling.”

Eili then answered and said, "Go in peace. The God of Yisroel will grant your request that you have asked of Him."

And I have dedicated him to Adonoy. All the days that he lives he is dedicated to Adonoy." He then prostrated himself to Adonoy.
