וַֽיִּמְצְא֤וּ אִישׁ־מִצְרִי֙ בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה וַיִּקְח֥וּ אֹת֖וֹ אֶל־דָּוִ֑ד וַיִּתְּנוּ־ל֥וֹ לֶ֙חֶם֙ וַיֹּ֔אכַל וַיַּשְׁקֻ֖הוּ מָֽיִם׃
Nakakita sila ng isang lalaking Egipcio sa parang, at dinala nila siya kay David. Binigyan nila siya ng tinapay at kumain siya, at pinainom nila siya ng tubig.

And after the death of Shaul, Dovid returned from defeating Amoleik. Dovid dwelled in Tziklog for two days.

On the third day behold a man came from the camp, from Shaul's people. His clothes were torn and dirt was on his head. And when he came to Dovid, he fell to the ground and prostrated himself.

Dovid said to him, "From where are you coming?" The man replied to him, "I have escaped from the Yisroelite camp."
