וַאֲחַזְיָ֤ה מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה֙ רָאָ֔ה וַיָּ֕נָס דֶּ֖רֶךְ בֵּ֣ית הַגָּ֑ן וַיִּרְדֹּ֨ף אַחֲרָ֜יו יֵה֗וּא וַ֠יֹּאמֶר גַּם־אֹת֞וֹ הַכֻּ֣הוּ אֶל־הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֗ה בְּמַֽעֲלֵה־גוּר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶֽת־יִבְלְעָ֔ם וַיָּ֥נָס מְגִדּ֖וֹ וַיָּ֥מָת שָֽׁם׃
Nang makita ito ni Ahazias na hari ng Juda, tumakas siya sa daang patungo sa bahay sa halamanan. Hinabol siya ni Jehu at sinabi: “Patamaan din ninyo siya sa kanyang karwahe sa ahon ng Gur na malapit sa Ibleam.” Tumakas siya hanggang sa Megido at doon siya namatay.
