הֽוּא־הָיָ֨ה עִם־דָּוִ֜יד בַּפַּ֣ס דַּמִּ֗ים וְהַפְּלִשְׁתִּים֙ נֶאֱסְפוּ־שָׁ֣ם לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה וַתְּהִ֛י חֶלְקַ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה מְלֵאָ֣ה שְׂעוֹרִ֑ים וְהָעָ֥ם נָ֖סוּ מִפְּנֵ֥י פְלִשְׁתִּֽים׃

ער איז געװען מיט דודן אין פּס-דַמים, װען די פּלִשתּים האָבן זיך דאָרטן אײַנגעזאַמלט אױף מלחמה; און דאָרטן איז געװען אַ שטיק פֿעלד פֿול מיט גערשטן; און דאָס פֿאָלק איז אַנטלאָפֿן פֿאַר די פּלִשתּים.
