וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אִתָּם֮ הַמֶּלֶךְ֒ וְלֹ֤א נִמְצָא֙ מִכֻּלָּ֔ם כְּדָנִיֵּ֣אל חֲנַנְיָ֔ה מִֽישָׁאֵ֖ל וַעֲזַרְיָ֑ה וַיַּֽעַמְד֖וּ לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
און דער מלך האָט מיט זײ גערעדט; און צװישן זײ אַלעמען איז ניט געפֿונען געװאָרן אַזאַ װי דניאל, חנַניָה, מישָאֵל, און עַזַריָה; און זײ זײַנען געשטאַנען פֿאַרן מלך.

[Daniel 1:19] Vayedaber (וַיְדַבֵּר - And the king spoke): In his [own] language [i.e., Chaldean/Aramaic, which the youths had learned].

[Daniel 1:19] Ve-lo nimtza (וְלֹא נִמְצָא - And none was found): [Meaning] from all the Jewish youths who were exiled, [none were found] like these four.

[Daniel 1:19] Vaya’amdu lifnei ha-melech (וַיַּעַמְדוּ לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ - And they stood before the king): They alone [were selected for this service from the group].
