כִּ֧י הַתְּרָפִ֣ים דִּבְּרוּ־אָ֗וֶן וְהַקּֽוֹסְמִים֙ חָ֣זוּ שֶׁ֔קֶר וַֽחֲלֹמוֹת֙ הַשָּׁ֣וא יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ הֶ֖בֶל יְנַֽחֵמ֑וּן עַל־כֵּן֙ נָסְע֣וּ כְמוֹ־צֹ֔אן יַעֲנ֖וּ כִּֽי־אֵ֥ין רֹעֶֽה׃ (פ)
װאָרום די תּרָפֿים האָבן גערעדט נישטיקײט, און די װאָרזאָגער האָבן געזען ליגן, און די חלוֹמות רעדן פֿאַלש, נישטיק טוען זײ טרײסטן. דרום האָבן זײ אומגעװאַנדערט אַזױ װי שאָף, זײ פּלאָגן זיך, װײַל קײן פּאַסטוך איז ניטאָ.

For the teraphim, etc., and the soothsayers envisioned lies, and dreamers who misled your forefathers, saying, “I dreamt.” They would encourage [your forefathers] to rebel against the Holy One, blessed be He. They spoke futility, and they spoke vanity, saying “peace” - but there was no peace.
