וָאֵ֣דְעָ֔ה כִּֽי־מְנָי֥וֹת הַלְוִיִּ֖ם לֹ֣א נִתָּ֑נָה וַיִּבְרְח֧וּ אִישׁ־לְשָׂדֵ֛הוּ הַלְוִיִּ֥ם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים עֹשֵׂ֥י הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃
און איך האָב זיך דערװוּסט אַז די אָפּגאָבן פֿון די לוִיִים זײַנען ניט געגעבן געװאָרן, און די לוִיִים און די זינגערס װאָס האָבן געטאָן די אַרבעט, זײַנען צעלאָפֿן איטלעכער צו זײַן פֿעלד.

had not been given that the Israelites had not placed the gifts there, and because of that they fled and wandered here and there to ask for their gifts, and were not occupied as much with their service.
