האָט אדוני-בֶזק געזאָגט: זיבעציק מלָכים מיט די דױמען פֿון זײערע הענט און זײערע פֿיס אָפּגעהאַקט האָבן געקליבן אונטער מײַן טיש; אַזױ װי איך האָב געטאָן; אַזױ האָט מיר גאָט באַצאָלט, און זײ האָבן אים געבראַכט קײן ירושלַים, און ער איז דאָרטן געשטאָרבן.

From here we learn of the eminence and affluence of the Canaanite potentates, for Adoni-bezek was not worthy of being listed among the Canaanite monarchs10Yehoshua 12: 7–24 lists the thirty one Canaanite kings.
