מדרש אויף יהושע 15:19

וַתֹּ֜אמֶר תְּנָה־לִּ֣י בְרָכָ֗ה כִּ֣י אֶ֤רֶץ הַנֶּ֙גֶב֙ נְתַתָּ֔נִי וְנָתַתָּ֥ה לִ֖י גֻּלֹּ֣ת מָ֑יִם וַיִּתֶּן־לָ֗הּ אֵ֚ת גֻּלֹּ֣ת עִלִּיּ֔וֹת וְאֵ֖ת גֻּלֹּ֥ת תַּחְתִּיּֽוֹת׃ (פ)

האָט זי געזאָגט: גיב מיר אַ מתּנה; װאָרום אין אַ טרוקענעם לאַנד האָסטו מיך אױסגעגעבן; דרום זאָלסטו מיר געבן קװאַלן װאַסער. האָט ער איר געגעבן די אױבערשטע קװאַלן און די אונטערשטע קװאַלן.

Sifrei Devarim

(Ibid. 26) "shall you bear and you shall come": He must care for his consecrated things until he brings them to the Temple. R. Yehudah says: Until he brings them to the Be'er Hagolah (in the azarah) he is responsible for them. From that point on, he is not responsible for them.
