בַּלַּ֣יְלָה הַה֔וּא נָדְדָ֖ה שְׁנַ֣ת הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר לְהָבִ֞יא אֶת־סֵ֤פֶר הַזִּכְרֹנוֹת֙ דִּבְרֵ֣י הַיָּמִ֔ים וַיִּהְי֥וּ נִקְרָאִ֖ים לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
אין יענער נאַכט האָט זיך אָפּגעטאָן דער שלאָף פֿון מלך, און ער האָט געהײסן ברענגען דעם ספֿר-הזכרוֹנות פֿון די צײַט געשעענישן, און זײ זײַנען פֿאָרגעלײענט געװאָרן פֿאַרן מלך.
