אַ֗ף כִּֽי־עָשׂ֤וּ לָהֶם֙ עֵ֣גֶל מַסֵּכָ֔ה וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ זֶ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶעֶלְךָ֖ מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֔וּ נֶאָצ֖וֹת גְּדֹלֽוֹת׃
אַפֿילו אַז זײ האָבן זיך געמאַכט אַ געגאָסן קאַלב, און זײ האָבן געזאָגט: ”דאָס איז דײַן גאָט װאָס האָט דיך אױפֿגעבראַכט פֿון מִצרַיִם“, און זײ האָבן באַגאַנגען גרױסע לעסטערונגען,
Exodus
He took them from their hands, and formed it with [a goldsmith’s] engraving tool, and made it into a molten calf. They [then] said, “These, Yisrael, are your gods who brought you up from the land of Egypt.
