כִּֽי־תָבֹ֣א אֶל־הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ נֹתֵ֣ן לָ֔ךְ וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֖הּ וְיָשַׁ֣בְתָּה בָּ֑הּ וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ אָשִׂ֤ימָה עָלַי֙ מֶ֔לֶךְ כְּכָל־הַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר סְבִיבֹתָֽי׃
אַז דו װעסט קומען אין דעם לאַנד װאָס ה׳ דײַן גאָט גיט דיר, און װעסט עס אַרבן, און װעסט זיך באַזעצן דרינען, און װעסט זאָגן: איך װיל מאַכן אַ מלך איבער מיר, אַזױ װי אַלע פֿעלקער װאָס אַרום מיר,
I Samuel
All the elders of Yisroel then gathered together and they came to Shmuel, to Romoh.

They said to him, "Behold! You are old, and your sons did not follow your ways. Appoint for us now a king to judge us, like all the nations."

The matter was wrong in Shmuel's eyes when they said, "Give us a king to rule us," and Shmuel prayed to Adonoy.
