וַיִּצְעַ֥ק הָעָ֖ם אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֤ל מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה וַתִּשְׁקַ֖ע הָאֵֽשׁ׃
האָט דאָס פֿאָלק געשריען צו משהן, און משה האָט מתפּלל געװען צו גאָט, און דאָס פֿײַער האָט זיך געזעצט.

R. Eleazar also said : Moses spoke rebelliously to the Most High; as it is said, "And Moses prayed unto the Lord" (Num. xi. 2) — read not "unto [el] the Lord" but "against ['al] the Lord";
