כֹּהֲנֶ֜יהָ חָמְס֣וּ תוֹרָתִי֮ וַיְחַלְּל֣וּ קָדָשַׁי֒ בֵּֽין־קֹ֤דֶשׁ לְחֹל֙ לֹ֣א הִבְדִּ֔ילוּ וּבֵין־הַטָּמֵ֥א לְטָה֖וֹר לֹ֣א הוֹדִ֑יעוּ וּמִשַׁבְּתוֹתַי֙ הֶעְלִ֣ימוּ עֵֽינֵיהֶ֔ם וָאֵחַ֖ל בְּתוֹכָֽם׃
אירע כּהנים האָבן פֿאַרבראָכן קעגן מײַן תּורה, און פֿאַרשװעכט מײַנע הײליקײטן;צװישן הײליק און אומהײליק האָבן זײ ניט אָפּגעשײדט, און צװישן רײן און אומרײן האָבן זײ ניט צו װיסן געטאָן, און פֿון מײַנע שבֿטים האָבן זײ פֿאַרהױלן זײערע אױגן, און איך בין פֿאַרשװעכט געװאָרן צװישן זײ.
Shabbat

Abaye said: Jerusalem was only destroyed because they violated Shabbat within her, as it says " and they hid their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I was profaned in their midst." (Ezekiel 22:26)
