וָאֲצַ֣ו אֶתְכֶ֔ם בָּעֵ֥ת הַהִ֖וא לֵאמֹ֑ר יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֗ם נָתַ֨ן לָכֶ֜ם אֶת־הָאָ֤רֶץ הַזֹּאת֙ לְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּ חֲלוּצִ֣ים תַּֽעַבְר֗וּ לִפְנֵ֛י אֲחֵיכֶ֥ם בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כָּל־בְּנֵי־חָֽיִל׃
און איך האָב אײַך באַפֿױלן אין יענער צײַט, אַזױ צו זאָגן: ה׳ אײַער גאָט האָט אײַך געגעבן דאָס דאָזיקע לאַנד עס צו אַרבן; זאָלט איר, אַלע העלדישע יונגען, אַריבערגײן געװאָפֿנט פֿאַרױס פֿאַר אײַערע ברידער, די קינדער פֿון ישׂראל.

Adonoy said to Moshe: “Go up this Avarim Mountain and look at the land that I have given to Bnei Yisroel.

We will then arm ourselves rapidly, and will be ready to go before Bnei Yisroel until we have brought them to their place. Our children will dwell in fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land.
