וָאֶשְׁמְעָ֥ה אֶֽחָד־קָד֖וֹשׁ מְדַבֵּ֑ר וַיֹּאמֶר֩ אֶחָ֨ד קָד֜וֹשׁ לַפַּֽלְמוֹנִ֣י הַֽמְדַבֵּ֗ר עַד־מָתַ֞י הֶחָז֤וֹן הַתָּמִיד֙ וְהַפֶּ֣שַׁע שֹׁמֵ֔ם תֵּ֛ת וְקֹ֥דֶשׁ וְצָבָ֖א מִרְמָֽס׃
און איך האָב געהערט װי אײן הײליקער האָט גערעדט, און אײן הײליקער האָט געזאָגט צו דעם אומבאַקענטן װאָס האָט גערעדט: אױף ביז װאַנען איז די זעונג װעגן דעם שטענדיקן קרבן, און דעם פֿאַרברעך װאָס צעגרױלט, דאָס איבערגעבן אי דאָס הײליקטום אי דעם חיל צום צעטרעטן?
Daniel
And he [(Titus)] shall forge a covenant [of peace] with the chiefs [of Israel] for one seven-year period]; but in half of that seven he will abolish sacrifice and meal-offering [viz. 8:25]. And on the height of abominations, [he shall place] "the mute [offense" (idolatry, viz. 8:13)]. And it, [(the dominion of abomination, shall endure)] until [the days of the Messiah, when] complete destruction will descend upon "the mute" [i.e., upon idolatry and its worshippers].
