עָלָיו֙ יִשְׁאֲג֣וּ כְפִרִ֔ים נָתְנ֖וּ קוֹלָ֑ם וַיָּשִׁ֤יתוּ אַרְצוֹ֙ לְשַׁמָּ֔ה עָרָ֥יו נצתה [נִצְּת֖וּ] מִבְּלִ֥י יֹשֵֽׁב׃
אױף אים ברילן די יונגלײַבן, זײ לאָזן אַרױס זײער קָול, און זײ האָבן געמאַכט זײַן לאַנד צו װיסט; זײַנע שטעט זײַנע כָרב, אָן אַ באַװױנער.
Ecclesiastes
Is it not good in a man that he eat and drink and show his soul [inclined to] good in his toil? [viz. Jeremiah 2:15] This [inclination], too, have I seen to be from the hand of G-d.
