וְאִ֣ם ׀ ל֣וֹא הַשְּׂחֹ֗ק הָיָ֤ה לְךָ֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אִם־בְּגַנָּבִ֖ים נמצאה [נִמְצָ֑א] כִּֽי־מִדֵּ֧י דְבָרֶ֥יךָ בּ֖וֹ תִּתְנוֹדָֽד׃
װאָרום איז ניט אַ געלעכטער געװען דיר ישׂראל? צי איז ער צװישן גנבים געפֿונען געװאָרן, װאָס װען נאָר דו האָסט גערעדט פֿון אים, פֿלעגסטו זיך אױפֿטרײַסלען?

Adonoy said to Moshe, “Go in to Pharaoh for I have hardened his heart and [also] the hearts of his servants, so that I will be able to set [perform] these [miraculous] signs in their midst.
