תנ״ך אויף מלכים א 18:1

וַיְהִי֙ יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים וּדְבַר־יְהוָ֗ה הָיָה֙ אֶל־אֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ בַּשָּׁנָ֥ה הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖ית לֵאמֹ֑ר לֵ֚ךְ הֵרָאֵ֣ה אֶל־אַחְאָ֔ב וְאֶתְּנָ֥ה מָטָ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃

און עס איז געװען נאָך פֿיל טעג, איז דאָס װאָרט פֿון גאָט געװען צו אֵלִיָהון – אױפֿן דריטן יאָר – אַזױ צו זאָגן: גײ װײַז זיך פֿאַר אַחאבֿן, און איך װעל געבן רעגן אױפֿן געזיכט פֿון דער ערד.

I Kings

And Elijah, the Tishibite, from the dwellers of Gilad, said to Ahab, "As the Lord, God of Israel, lives, before whom I stood, there will not be rain or dew except according to my word." There was a word of God to him, saying: "Go from this, and turn yourself eastward, and hide yourself by the Brook of Crit that is on the banks of the Jordan.
