וַֽיְהִי֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא וְעֵלִ֖י שֹׁכֵ֣ב בִּמְקֹמ֑וֹ ועינו [וְעֵינָיו֙] הֵחֵ֣לּוּ כֵה֔וֹת לֹ֥א יוּכַ֖ל לִרְאֽוֹת׃
און עס איז געװען אין יענע טעג, װען עלי איז געלעגן אױף זײַן אָרט – און זײַנע אױגן האָבן אָנגעהױבן טונקל װערן; ער האָט ניט געקענט זען –
I Samuel
I have told him that I am executing judgment against his family forever, for the sin of knowing that his sons were blaspheming themselves, yet he did not censure them.
