אֵ֚לֶּה קריאי [קְרוּאֵ֣י] הָעֵדָ֔ה נְשִׂיאֵ֖י מַטּ֣וֹת אֲבוֹתָ֑ם רָאשֵׁ֛י אַלְפֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הֵֽם׃
די דאָזיקע זײַנען געװען גערופֿענע פֿון דער עדה, פֿירשטן פֿון זײערע פֿאָטערשטאַמען; די הױפּטלײַט פֿון די טױזנטן פֿון ישׂראל זײַנען זײ געװען.

These (were) the notables of the congregation of the people, chiefs of their fathers' tribes, heads of thousands in Israel these.

These are the ones called from the assembly, leaders of the tribes of their fathers; they are the heads of the thousands of Israel.
