וּמַדֹּתֶ֞ם מִח֣וּץ לָעִ֗יר אֶת־פְּאַת־קֵ֣דְמָה אַלְפַּ֪יִם בָּֽאַמָּ֟ה וְאֶת־פְּאַת־נֶגֶב֩ אַלְפַּ֨יִם בָּאַמָּ֜ה וְאֶת־פְּאַת־יָ֣ם ׀ אַלְפַּ֣יִם בָּֽאַמָּ֗ה וְאֵ֨ת פְּאַ֥ת צָפ֛וֹן אַלְפַּ֥יִם בָּאַמָּ֖ה וְהָעִ֣יר בַּתָּ֑וֶךְ זֶ֚ה יִהְיֶ֣ה לָהֶ֔ם מִגְרְשֵׁ֖י הֶעָרִֽים׃
און איר זאָלט אָפּמעסטן אױסן שטאָט, מזרח-זײַט צװײ טױזנט אײלן, און דָרום-זײַט צװײ טױזנט אײלן, און מערבֿ-זײַט צװײ טױזנט אײלן, און צפֿון-זײַט צװײ טױזנט אײלן, מיט דער שטאָט אין מיטן. דאָס זאָלן בײַ זײ זײַן די פֿרײַע פּלעצער פֿון די שטעט.
Targum Jonathan
And you shall measure outside the city, on the east side, two thousand cubits; on the South two thousatid, on the west two thousand, and on the north two thousand cubits, with the city in the midst; these shall be to you the suburbs of the cities.
