וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָבָ֗ן ט֚וֹב תִּתִּ֣י אֹתָ֣הּ לָ֔ךְ מִתִּתִּ֥י אֹתָ֖הּ לְאִ֣ישׁ אַחֵ֑ר שְׁבָ֖ה עִמָּדִֽי׃
האָט לָבָן געזאָגט: בעסער איך זאָל זי דיר געבן, אײדער איך זאָל זי געבן צו אַן אַנדער מאַן; בלײַב בײַ מיר.
Targum Jonathan
And Laban said with deceit, It is better that I give her to thee, than to another man abide with me.
