וַיַּ֗רְא כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יָכֹל֙ ל֔וֹ וַיִּגַּ֖ע בְּכַף־יְרֵכ֑וֹ וַתֵּ֙קַע֙ כַּף־יֶ֣רֶךְ יַעֲקֹ֔ב בְּהֵֽאָבְק֖וֹ עִמּֽוֹ׃
און אַז ער האָט געזען אַז ער קען אים ניט בײַקומען, האָט ער אָנגערירט דאָס לעפֿל פֿון זײַן דיך; און דאָס לעפֿל פֿון יעקבס דיך איז אױסגעלונקען געװאָרן אין זײַן ראַנגלען זיך מיט אים.
Targum Jonathan
And he saw that he had not power to hurt him, and he touched the hollow of his thigh, and the hollow of Jakob's thigh was distorted in his contending with him.
