וְאֵ֛ת שֵׁ֥ם הַשֵּׁנִ֖י קָרָ֣א אֶפְרָ֑יִם כִּֽי־הִפְרַ֥נִי אֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּאֶ֥רֶץ עָנְיִֽי׃
און דעם נאָמען פֿון דעם צװײטן האָט ער גערופֿן אֶפֿרַיִם, װײַל: « גאָט האָט מיך געפֿרוכפּערט אין דעם לאַנד פֿון מײַן פּײַן».
Targum Jonathan
And the name of the second he called Ephraim; for he said, The Lord hath made me mighty in the land of my affliction, as he will make the house of my father mighty here in their afflictions.
