בַּבֹּ֤קֶר תֹּאמַר֙ מִֽי־יִתֵּ֣ן עֶ֔רֶב וּבָעֶ֥רֶב תֹּאמַ֖ר מִֽי־יִתֵּ֣ן בֹּ֑קֶר מִפַּ֤חַד לְבָֽבְךָ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּפְחָ֔ד וּמִמַּרְאֵ֥ה עֵינֶ֖יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּרְאֶֽה׃
אין פֿרימאָרגן װעסטו זאָגן: הלװאַי װערט אָװנט! און אין אָװנט װעסטו זאָגן: הלװאַי װערט פֿרימאָרגן! פֿון װעגן דער אַנגסט פֿון דײַן האַרצן װאָס דו װעסט אַנגסטן, און פֿון װעגן דער זעאונג פֿון דײַנע אױגן װאָס דו װעסט זען.
Targum Jonathan
In the morning you will say, O that it were evening! for afflictions will make the hours of the day longer before you; and at evening you will say, O that it were morning! for afflictions will make the hours of the night longer before you, because of the terror of your heart; for you will be in stupor by a vision of your eyes, which you will see for punishment, and be terrified.
