וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה הִנְּךָ֥ שֹׁכֵ֖ב עִם־אֲבֹתֶ֑יךָ וְקָם֩ הָעָ֨ם הַזֶּ֜ה וְזָנָ֣ה ׀ אַחֲרֵ֣י ׀ אֱלֹהֵ֣י נֵֽכַר־הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר ה֤וּא בָא־שָׁ֙מָּה֙ בְּקִרְבּ֔וֹ וַעֲזָבַ֕נִי וְהֵפֵר֙ אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר כָּרַ֖תִּי אִתּֽוֹ׃
און גאָט האָט געזאָגט צו משהן: זע, דו לײגסט זיך מיט דײַנע עלטערן, און דאָס דאָזיקע פֿאָלק װעט אױפֿשטײן און זיך אָפּקערן נאָך די געטער פֿון די פֿרעמדע פֿון דעם לאַנד װאָס ער קומט אַהין צװישן זײ, און ער װעט מיך פֿאַרלאָזן, און פֿאַרשטערן מײַן בונד װאָס איך האָב געשלאָסן מיט אים.
Targum Jonathan
And the Lord said to Mosheh, Behold, thou wilt lie down in the dust with thy fathers, and thy soul shall be treasured in the treasury of eternal life with thy fathers: but this wicked people will rise up and go astray after the idols of the nations among whom they come, and will forsake My worship, and change My covenant which I have made with them.
Targum Jerusalem
They will forsake, and will profane the statutes I have confirmed with them.
