וַאֲנִ֞י אֶתֵּ֤ן אֶת־פָּנַי֙ בָּאִ֣ישׁ הַה֔וּא וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י אֹת֖וֹ מִקֶּ֣רֶב עַמּ֑וֹ כִּ֤י מִזַּרְעוֹ֙ נָתַ֣ן לַמֹּ֔לֶךְ לְמַ֗עַן טַמֵּא֙ אֶת־מִקְדָּשִׁ֔י וּלְחַלֵּ֖ל אֶת־שֵׁ֥ם קָדְשִֽׁי׃
און איך װעל קערן מײַן פּנים קעגן יענעם מענטשן, און װעל אים פֿאַרשנײַדן פֿון צװישן זײַן פֿאָלק, װײַל ער האָט געגעבן פֿון זײַנע קינדער צו מוֹלֶך, כּדי צו פֿאַראומרײניקן מײַן הײליקטום, און צו פֿאַרשװעכן מײַן הײליקן נאָמען.
Targum Jonathan
and I will cause a reverse, to make prosperity to cease with that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he gave his offspring in strange worship to pollute My sanctuary and to profane My holy Name.
