וַיָּ֥פֶץ הָעָ֖ם בְּכָל־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם לְקֹשֵׁ֥שׁ קַ֖שׁ לַתֶּֽבֶן׃

Targum Jonathan
And the people were scattered abroad in all the land of Mizraim to gather stubble for the straw.
