תֶּ֗בֶן אֵ֤ין נִתָּן֙ לַעֲבָדֶ֔יךָ וּלְבֵנִ֛ים אֹמְרִ֥ים לָ֖נוּ עֲשׂ֑וּ וְהִנֵּ֧ה עֲבָדֶ֛יךָ מֻכִּ֖ים וְחָטָ֥את עַמֶּֽךָ׃
קײן שטרױ װערט ניט געגעבן דײַנע קנעכט, און מע הײסט אונדז: מאַכט ציגל; און זע, דײַנע קנעכט קריגן געשלאָגן, און די שולד איז אין דײַן פֿאָלק.
Targum Jonathan
Thou hast not given thy servants the straw, and (yet) say they to us, Make the bricks; and, behold, they beat thy servants, and the guilty treatment of thy people is strong, but it goeth up!
