בִּשְׁנַ֣ת שָׁל֗וֹשׁ לְכ֙וֹרֶשׁ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ פָּרַ֔ס דָּבָר֙ נִגְלָ֣ה לְדָֽנִיֵּ֔אל אֲשֶׁר־נִקְרָ֥א שְׁמ֖וֹ בֵּלְטְשַׁאצַּ֑ר וֶאֱמֶ֤ת הַדָּבָר֙ וְצָבָ֣א גָד֔וֹל וּבִין֙ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֔ר וּבִ֥ינָה ל֖וֹ בַּמַּרְאֶֽה׃
Im dritten Regierungsjahr des Cyrus, Königs von Persien, wurde ein Spruch offenbart dem Daniel, der Beltsazzar genannt wurde, und Wahrheit ist der Spruch, und mir voller Bestimmtheit; nur muss man den Spruch merken und die Erscheinung verstehen.
