וּבָעֵ֣ת הַהִיא֩ יַעֲמֹ֨ד מִֽיכָאֵ֜ל הַשַּׂ֣ר הַגָּד֗וֹל הָעֹמֵד֮ עַל־בְּנֵ֣י עַמֶּךָ֒ וְהָיְתָה֙ עֵ֣ת צָרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־נִהְיְתָה֙ מִֽהְי֣וֹת גּ֔וֹי עַ֖ד הָעֵ֣ת הַהִ֑יא וּבָעֵ֤ת הַהִיא֙ יִמָּלֵ֣ט עַמְּךָ֔ כָּל־הַנִּמְצָ֖א כָּת֥וּב בַּסֵּֽפֶר׃
In jener Zeit wird Michael, der große Fürst, auftreten, der für deine Volksgenossen einsteht, denn es wird eine Zeit der Not sein, wie solche noch nicht gewesen ist, seitdem Völker entstanden sind bis auf jene Zeit; von deinem Volke wird um jene Zeit entrinnen, wer aufgeschrieben ist im Buche [des Lebens].
