אִיתַ֞י גֻּבְרִ֣ין יְהוּדָאיִ֗ן דִּֽי־מַנִּ֤יתָ יָתְהוֹן֙ עַל־עֲבִידַת֙ מְדִינַ֣ת בָּבֶ֔ל שַׁדְרַ֥ךְ מֵישַׁ֖ךְ וַעֲבֵ֣ד נְג֑וֹ גֻּבְרַיָּ֣א אִלֵּ֗ךְ לָא־שָׂ֨מֽוּ עליך [עֲלָ֤ךְ] מַלְכָּא֙ טְעֵ֔ם לאלהיך [לֵֽאלָהָךְ֙] לָ֣א פָלְחִ֔ין וּלְצֶ֧לֶם דַּהֲבָ֛א דִּ֥י הֲקֵ֖ימְתָּ לָ֥א סָגְדִֽין׃ (ס)
Es sind da judäische Männer, welche du bestellt hast über die Dienstverwaltung der Landschaft Babel: Sadrach, Mesach und Abed-Nego, diese Männer haben sich nicht um dich, o König, gekümmert, deinen Göttern dienen sie nicht und das goldene Bild, welches du aufgestellt, beten sie nicht an.
