עָפְיֵ֤הּ שַׁפִּיר֙ וְאִנְבֵּ֣הּ שַׂגִּ֔יא וּמָז֨וֹן לְכֹ֖לָּא־בֵ֑הּ תְּחֹת֜וֹהִי תַּטְלֵ֣ל ׀ חֵיוַ֣ת בָּרָ֗א וּבְעַנְפ֙וֹהִי֙ ידרון [יְדוּרָן֙] צִפֲּרֵ֣י שְׁמַיָּ֔א וּמִנֵּ֖הּ יִתְּזִ֥ין כָּל־בִּשְׂרָֽא׃
Sein Laubgezweig war herrlich und seine Frucht groß, und Nahrung für Alles war an ihm; unter ihm suchten Schatten die Tiere des Feldes, und in seinen Zweigen wohnten die Vögel des Himmels, und von ihm nährten sich alle Geschöpfe.
