לֹא־יַאֲמִ֣ין שׁ֭וּב מִנִּי־חֹ֑שֶׁךְ וצפו [וְצָפ֖וּי] ה֣וּא אֱלֵי־חָֽרֶב׃

Er traut sich nicht heraus aus der Finsternis, er dünkt sich ausgesetzt dem Schwerte.

and he is destined to the sword Heb. וצפוי. He is destined to the sword, and his eye to wander for bread—where should he find it?
