וַיִּשְׁמַ֗ע עַל־תִּרְהָ֤קָה מֶֽלֶךְ־כּוּשׁ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר יָצָ֖א לְהִלָּחֵ֣ם אִתָּ֑ךְ וַיִּשְׁמַע֙ וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ לֵאמֹֽר׃

Er hörte von Tirhaka, König von Äthiopien, also: Er ist ausgezogen gegen dich zu streiten. Da sandte er wiederum Boten zu Hiskija und ließ ihm sagen:

He accepted the report of the messengers, and it appealed to him to give thought to withdraw from Jerusalem to fight first with Cush.
