כִּ֣י עִ֤יר בְּצוּרָה֙ בָּדָ֔ד נָוֶ֕ה מְשֻׁלָּ֥ח וְנֶעֱזָ֖ב כַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר שָׁ֣ם יִרְעֶ֥ה עֵ֛גֶל וְשָׁ֥ם יִרְבָּ֖ץ וְכִלָּ֥ה סְעִפֶֽיהָ׃
Denn die befestigte Stadt ist einsam, die Wohnstätte entvölkert und verlassen, einer Wüste gleich. Dort weidet und lagert das Kalb und vernichtet dort ihr Laub.
