כִּ֤י נִבְעֲרוּ֙ הָֽרֹעִ֔ים וְאֶת־יְהוָ֖ה לֹ֣א דָרָ֑שׁוּ עַל־כֵּן֙ לֹ֣א הִשְׂכִּ֔ילוּ וְכָל־מַרְעִיתָ֖ם נָפֽוֹצָה׃ (ס)
Denn die Hirten sind brutal geworden und haben nicht nach dem HERRN gefragt; Darum haben sie nicht gediehen, und alle ihre Herden sind zerstreut.
