וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ לְכ֨וּ וְנַחְשְׁבָ֣ה עַֽל־יִרְמְיָהוּ֮ מַחֲשָׁבוֹת֒ כִּי֩ לֹא־תֹאבַ֨ד תּוֹרָ֜ה מִכֹּהֵ֗ן וְעֵצָה֙ מֵֽחָכָ֔ם וְדָבָ֖ר מִנָּבִ֑יא לְכוּ֙ וְנַכֵּ֣הוּ בַלָּשׁ֔וֹן וְאַל־נַקְשִׁ֖יבָה אֶל־כָּל־דְּבָרָֽיו׃
Dann sagten sie: 'Komm und lass uns Geräte gegen Jeremia entwickeln. Denn die Belehrung soll weder vom Priester noch vom Rat der Weisen noch vom Wort des Propheten umkommen. Komm und lass uns ihn mit der Zunge schlagen, und lass uns keines seiner Worte beachten.'
