הֲל֣וֹא רָאִ֗יתָ מָֽה־הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ דִּבְּר֣וּ לֵאמֹ֔ר שְׁתֵּ֣י הַמִּשְׁפָּח֗וֹת אֲשֶׁ֨ר בָּחַ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה בָּהֶ֖ם וַיִּמְאָסֵ֑ם וְאֶת־עַמִּי֙ יִנְאָצ֔וּן מִֽהְי֥וֹת ע֖וֹד גּ֥וֹי לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ (ס)
'Denken Sie nicht darüber nach, was dieses Volk gesagt hat: Die beiden Familien, die der Herr gewählt hat, hat er verstoßen? und sie verurteilen mein Volk, dass sie keine Nation mehr vor ihnen sein sollten.
