הִנֵּה־ק֞וֹל שַֽׁוְעַ֣ת בַּת־עַמִּ֗י מֵאֶ֙רֶץ֙ מַרְחַקִּ֔ים הַֽיהוָה֙ אֵ֣ין בְּצִיּ֔וֹן אִם־מַלְכָּ֖הּ אֵ֣ין בָּ֑הּ מַדּ֗וּעַ הִכְעִס֛וּנִי בִּפְסִלֵיהֶ֖ם בְּהַבְלֵ֥י נֵכָֽר׃
Siehe, die Stimme des Schreiens der Tochter meines Volkes aus einem fernen Land: 'Ist nicht der Herr in Zion? Ist nicht ihr König in ihr?'— 'Warum haben sie mich mit ihren geschnitzten Bildern und mit seltsamen Eitelkeiten provoziert?'—

Hark the voice...the cry of the daughter of My people I hear that eventually they will cry from a distant land, but why is all this necessary? Is not the Lord in Zion? If they return to Him, He will allow Himself to be found by them.
